Queenstown House is an iconic Queenstown property which has evolved from a private family home to a luxury Bed and Breakfast accommodation provider.
A short walk to the heart of Queenstown, with views over the township, Lake Wakatipu and over to Walter Peak Station. Queenstown House has welcomed guests for over 40 years. With a collection of different rooms all styled with the focus on comfort and luxury, the property has something for everyone from 3-bedroom apartments with sweeping views and fireplaces to our more intimate luxury king rooms in the main house. Famous for our extensive breakfast and the not to miss evening canapes (subject to change), giving our guests the opportunity to experience home hospitality and enjoy the company of our hosts and fellow travellers.
The property changed hands in 2017 and continues to offer a unique hospitality experience to our local and international guests. We have recently added No. 6 Lake Esplanade to our portfolio and are thrilled to now offer our guests Queenstown House Lakeside Luxury Apartments. Excellent! Would definitely stay again!
We loved how “spacious” the rooms and living space were; how you had every amenity we could possibly need in the apartment; the friendly staff and the variety of baked goods for breakfast; the location being close to city but still in a quiet street;

While staying for 3 days in this lovely boutique hotel we enjoyed every minute of it. Warm welcoming from the hosts felt like home, same time quality of services felt like 5 star hotel. And all that complements delightful breakfast from passionate chef. Thank you for our most pleasant experience.

This was our first accommodation in NZ and what a perfect way to start. Nice lake view room and a happy hour plus where we met the other travellers and enjoyed some complimentary local wines and canapés. The breakfast could not have been better and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.
