SKYLINE GONDOLA, RESTAURANT AND LUGE

The skyline Gondola is open daily from 9.00 am it takes approximately15 minutes to ascend to the gondola terminal and restaurant at the top. The restaurant is open for both lunch and dinner buffet. The tracks have amazing views, and you can control your speed, either a nice sedately cruise or the wind in your hair thrill factor.

KIWI BIRD PARK

Located beside the Gondola station, you MUST visit this conservation facility. You will see a live Kiwi, our native bird, and learn about our unique environment.

ARROWTOWN

Arrowtown was “Born of Gold” in the 1860’s and is only a short 20-minute scenic drive from Queenstown. The main street is lined with faithfully restored historic buildings. And is great for shopping, dining, or just a casual walk along the Arrow River. The Lakes District Museum is a fantastic way to look back at the history of the area.

MILFORD SOUND

One of the Seven Wonders of the World! This trip is a must. The weather is an important factor when choosing a day trip. Our favourite is flying, as this minimizes the amount of time travelling and you can take in the spectacular views. Other options can be discussed with us.

QUEENSTOWN GARDENS

For a longer, much gentler walk to town and back, walk three blocks along Hallenstein Street, turn right into Sydney Street, and walk three blocks to the start of the Queenstown Gardens. The gardens are beautiful to walk through and take you down to Marine Parade on the waterfront.
